MANCHESTER, NH – Have you ever wondered whether that painting that was passed down through your family or string of pearls left to you by a distant relative has monetary value? The Currier Museum of Art is offering an opportunity to discover the worth of your treasured objects and help the public understand the historical significance of their collections.
Sunday, April 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., three experts from the nationally renowned company Skinner Auctioneers and Appraisers will be on-site to examine works of art, antiques, and jewelry, and provide a verbal appraisal for each object.
Tickets are $45. per object, or $120. for three objects and the price includes a general admission ticket to the museum to enjoy all the fine works of art and exhibits. Proceeds from this one-of-a-kind event go directly to supporting the Currier, ensuring we can continue to bring you inventive exhibitions, thoughtful public programming, fun events and, of course, world-class art.
