MANCHESTER, NH – Hundreds of people welcomed the National Guard 197th Field Artillery Brigade home on Saturday Jan. 28, upon their return from a one-year deployment in the Middle East. Two buses loaded with Guardsmen were escorted to the Manchester Armory by Manchester Police, and NH State Police.
Relatives and friends filled the armory – many holding signs, balloons and flowers – to give loved ones a true hero’s welcome.
