MANCHESTER, NH – The public is invited to participate in two Community Visioning Sessions, on May 23 at Northwest Elementary School, 200 Youville St., and on May 29 at Beech Street School, 333 Beech St. Both events are part of Manchester Proud’s strategic plan to engage the community in designing the future of Manchester’s public schools.

The hopes for – and needs of – city schools as expressed by community members is an essential part of the process, as Manchester Proud works toward mapping out a comprehensive blueprint for the future of the city’s schools. Once drafted, under the professional guidance of design consultant 2 Revolutions, community members will have several opportunities to review the proposed plan and provide feedback.

A final version of the plan will then be submitted to the Board of School Committee for consideration in the fall of 2019. This process is funded entirely by private citizens, business leaders, and community organizations in Manchester.

Both the May 23 and May 29 Visioning Sessions will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Childcare and transportation are available. Dinner and interpreters (Arabic, Vietnamese, Swahili, Nepali, Spanish and French) will be provided.

Please RSVP to outreach@manchesterproud.org.
