GOFFSTOWN, N.H. – Saint Anselm had three players record double-doubles as they easily defeated Goldey-Beacom College 84-51 on Sunday.

The Hawks, ranked four in NCAA Division II by the D2SIDA National Media Poll, got 20-point games from junior Peyton Steinman (Pittsfield, Mass.) and senior Sara Messler (Durham, N.H.), with Steinman and Messler contributing 13 and 10 rebounds, respectively.

Senior Shannon Ryan (Plattsburgh, N.Y.) ended with 16 points and 14 rebounds.

The Hawks led from start to finish, scoring on a Steinman layup on the first offensive possession and never looking back, reaching a 20-point lead with just under a minute to go in the first half.

Despite missing all 15 shots taken from beyond the arc, the Hawks were 30-for-52 from inside, scoring 58 points in the paint. Saint Anselm also enjoyed a 57-to-31 advantage in rebounding and made 24-of-33 free throws in the game (72.7%).

Saint Anselm (7-0, 4-0 Northeast-10) finishes 2019 with a pair of games later this week in Florida.
