Screen Shot 2014-11-08 at 5.29.31 PMMANCHESTER, NH – The Hallo-Wiener Hustle is a relay race with a twist, happening Nov. 9, 2014. This one should be fun to watch, even if you’re not participating.

Manchester Police Department advises the race will affect traffic on Elm Street, Bridge Street and Chestnut Street between 10 a.m. and noon.

The race kicks off from the area of Elm Street and Lowell Street and is approximately one mile long, traveling north on Elm Street to Brook Street, east on Brook Street to Chestnut Street, south on Chestnut Street to Lowell Street, and then back to Elm Street.

The race is a relay race with four participants per team, so the route will be populated with runners for the entire time and for the entire length of the route.

Although the course is considered an open course, runners will be given the right-hand travel lane of both Elm Street and Chestnut Street. Travel on Bridge Street, Lowell Street, and Brook Street from Chestnut Street to Elm Street will be restricted in order to ensure safe passage for the runners.

West bound traffic on Bridge Street will be diverted south onto Chestnut Street and eastbound traffic on Bridge Street will be diverted onto Elm Street.
