MANCHESTER, NH – Jeff Giuliano, owner of G2P Giuliano Pro Performance and Assistant Coach of the Manchester Monarchs, was inducted Oct. 24 into the 2016 Hall of Fame class of New Hampshire Legends of Hockey. The Induction Ceremony was held at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord.
Also inducted into the 2016 Hall of Fame class were coaches Rand Pecknold, Gary Bishop and John Dodds; and Dr. Richard R. Roy was inducted posthumously as a builder. Additionally, The Legends honored the Saint Anselm men’s and women’s hockey programs.
“It was an honor to be inducted into the Hall of Fame,” Giuliano said. “The New Hampshire Legends of Hockey is a great organization that should be commended for its efforts in preserving New Hampshire ice hockey history and really promoting the sport.”
A Nashua native, Giuliano went from his early years in the Nashua Youth Hockey League to the NHL, where he played 101 games for the Los Angeles Kings between 2005 and 2008. His standout career included winning stints at St. Paul’s School and Boston College, where he played a key role on BC’s national championship team in 2001 and captained the team his next year. He graduated with the third-most games played in BC history (166). He played parts of six seasons for the Manchester Monarchs in the AHL, scoring 30 goals and 88 points in 273 games, and an additional seven seasons in the KHL and in Germany.
“There is a surreal satisfaction being able to live and work in a town you love,” said Giuliano. “I see the same drive and excitement in the eyes of the players I coach. Realizing true potential and helping players achieve that, is something that I enjoy. I am still living my dreams.”
