FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Southern New Hampshire University goaltender Kurt Gutting stopped all 40 shots he faced on Saturday, helping the Penmen to a 4-0 win over Stonehill College.

Three of SNHU’s goals came in the first period, with power play goals from senior Chris Moquin (Hooksett, N.H.) and freshman Cole Stewart (Alpharetta, Ga.). Moquin also finished the contest with a pair of assists, with senior Brett Strawn (Wareham, Mass.) and freshman Phil Heisse (Overland Park, Kan.) also adding goals for the Penmen.

Saturday proved to be the first shutout of the season for Gutting (Weymouth, Mass.), rising to 8-4-4 on the season.

Southern New Hampshire is back in action Friday, Feb. 15 (7:10 p.m.) when they play host to crosstown-rival Saint Anselm College at the Ice Den.
