MANCHESTER, NHGranite United Way will be hosting its annual Day of Caring events this September and is currently seeking volunteers to help out at nonprofits across all of its regions. This year marks the 25th year of Day of Caring events.

Volunteers can now view projects in their regions and sign up for volunteer opportunities. Visit www.graniteuw.org to sign up today! Local nonprofits register projects that range from painting and landscaping to administrative help. These projects are often ‘wish list’ items that the nonprofit does not have the staffing to complete.

“Last year we had a fantastic volunteer turnout and we’ve got a lot of great nonprofits that can use the help this year,” said Patrick Tufts, President and CEO. “This is the single largest mobilization of volunteers and it’s one of our favorite days of the year!”

Volunteers can be individuals in the community or local companies are welcome to send a team of volunteers to help out.
