MANCHESTER, NH — A city man was ticketed twice in three days by the same NH State Police Trooper after he was caught allegedly speeding on I-93.
NH State Police say Joel Figueroa, 21, of Manchester, was first pulled over Dec. 10 at about 4:10 p.m. after Trooper Kevin LeBlanc observed a beige-colored Ford Fusion heading north of the Hooksett Toll plaza, allegedly going 107 mph.
Figueroa was arrested for reckless operation and his car was towed. He was scheduled to be arraigned in the Hooksett District Court on January 26, 2016.
On Dec. 13 at about 9:35 a.m. Trooper LeBlanc clocked a vehicle traveling south on I-93 in Bow doing 86 mph. The operator was again identified as Joel Figueroa of Manchester.
Figueroa told Trooper LeBlanc that he had just picked his car up from the tow lot and was upset that he was stopped again for speeding, stating that he was “only going about 80 mph.”
Figueroa was issued another summons for the speed violation.
