Girl, 3, seriously injured after fall from third-floor window

MANCHESTER, NH — A 3-year-old girl was seriously injured after falling out a third-floor window Monday.

Police say at about 9:40 p.m. they responded to a 911-hang-up call on Thornton Street on the city’s West Side where a young child had fallen from a third-story window and was in need of medical attention.

The child was transported to CMC with multiple injuries. A DHART medical helicopter was placed on standby.
