1. And the Oscars went to…: Fun night at the Academy Awards last night. If you watched, then you enjoyed some amusing and powerful moments, from Neil Patrick Harris and Patricia Arquette, to Lady Gaga and John Legend. If you didn’t watch, then you may have already skipped to No. 2. Here’s a link to all the winners in each category.

2. Shoppers at Mall of America undeterred by terror threat:  U.S. Homeland Security secretary Jeh Johnson said shoppers should “be careful” following reports of a video released Feb. 21 by the al-Shabaab group, which is calling for terror attacks in Canada, Britain and the U.S., specifying the Mall of America in Minnesota. 3. FairPoint strike ends: FairPoint Communications workers ratified a new contract over the weekend, ending a four-month strike by more than 1,700 workers in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. The settlement was announced Feb. 22. You can read more here.

4. Peanut allergy remedy on the horizon? Interesting story here about Viaskin Peanut, an drug now in trials showing promise in bringing relief for peanut allergy sufferers. Read more here.

5. Disney hikes prices by a few bucks at theme parks: If you were feeling left out among your friends and family members who fled the February snow for a Disney school vacation, this might make you feel better: Ticket prices at Disney World and Disneyland have gone up, effective Feb. 22. A one-day ticket for either Disneyland or California Adventure in Anaheim, Ca., is now $99 for anyone 10 or older, the company said. That’s up from $96. Single-day tickets for the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, are now $105, up from $99.
