Pumpkin Ale is back!
Pumpkin Ale is back!

If it’s Sept. 26 it must be the official start of Pumpkin Ale season at Milly’s Tavern, 500 Commercial St., in Manchester.

Milly’s Tavern is celebrating the season with its popular Pumpkin Ale, brewed using fresh local grown pumpkins. After receiving the pumpkins, they are bakes in the in house ovens to caramelize the natural sugars and then are added into the brewing process. Light amber in color, Milly’s Pumpkin Ale is a well-balanced beer that showcases the goodness of pumpkin and the fall season.

Enjoy it with or without a sugar rim on your glass.

You can get your seasonal brew on during the Sept. 26 Grumpy Pumpkin Ale Launch Party, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.

And if you are so inclined, stick around for tonight’s Slam Free or Die Northbeast Underground Team Slam action, happening in the back room at Milly’s. Doors open around 7 p.m.
