MANCHESTER, NH – There are few greater pleasures than eating your way around downtown Manchester.

I should know. It’s one of my favorite pastimes.

That’s why I never miss the annual Taste of Downtown, a night of noshing with your friends and family, with delectable bites at avery turn. This year’s taste is set for Sept. 13, from 5-8 p.m.

If you’ve never been, it’s a simple concept: Downtown restaurants are paired with downtown businesses. You follow the map, do some shopping, oh, and get a tasty bite straight from the menu of one of the city’s top-notch restaurants. (See the map below).

There will also be artwork on display by local featured artists, and live musicians stationed along the route. Each participating location will have red balloons out front, as well as a Taste of Downtown poster, to make it that much easier to find your way.

Proceeds from the Taste of Downtown go directly to Intown Manchester’s beautification efforts, including graffiti removal, Christmas decorations, flower planting and maintenance, sidewalk cleaning and more!

*THE MOST IMPORTANT THING*
There will be wristbands that double as your ‘ticket’ to the event. If you order your tickets online, feel free to come into the Intown Office anytime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to pick up your wristband prior to the event. You can also print your Eventbrite ticket and head to the Plaza at 1000 Elm Street the night of the Taste, to get your wristband! Advance tickets are just $10, your best bet – they’re $20 if you buy them the night of the event (so why wait?) Kids 12 and under eat for free.
