MANCHESTER, NH — Majestic Theatre presents “Nuncrackers,” a musical by Dan Goggin.

About the show: It is the Nunsense Christmas Musical and is presented as the first TV special taped in the Cable Access Studio built by Reverend Mother in the convent basement. It stars the nuns you love, plus Father Virgil, and four of Mount Saint Helen’s most talented students. Featuring all new songs including “Twelve Days Prior to Christmas,” “Santa Ain’t Comin’ to Our House,” “We Three Kings of Orient Are Us” and “It’s Better to Give than to Receive.”

This show is filled with typical Nunsense humor, some of your favorite carols, and a “Secret Santa” audience participation. You’ll laugh, and maybe the show will even tug at your heartstrings. It’s the perfect way to insure that your holiday season is merry and bright!

Majestic’s Nuncrackers is directed by Carole Neveux of Concord, Musical Direction by Keith Belanger of Londonderry and starring:  The Little Sisters of Hoboken: Michele Bossie of Milford; Betty Fortin of Londonderry; Anna Proulx of Manchester; Jocelyn Duford of Londonderry; Becky Rush of Pembroke. A. Robert Dionne of Manchester as Fr. Virgil, & Mount St. Helen Students are portrayed by Theo Boyd of Danville; Meghan Dolley of Manchester; Gavin Osgood of Manchester; and Kelsey Sweet of Derry.

“Nuncrackers” will be presented Friday and Saturday December 9 & 10 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, December 11 at 2 p.m. Performances will be held at The Derry Opera House, 29 West Broadway Derry. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors 65 and older, and $12 for youth 17 and under. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at 669-7469, online at www.majestictheatre.net or at the door prior to the performance.
