MANCHESTER, NH — Gary C. Gosselin, 68, of Manchester, NH, died February 12, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness.

Born in Manchester, NH on July 22, 1946, he was the son of Charles and Luella (Bouthiette) Gosselin. He was a lifelong resident of the Queen City.

He graduated from Manchester High School Central, Class of 1964.

Until his retirement in 1996, he was a lieutenant with the Manchester Fire Department for twenty-nine years. Afterwards, he wScreenshot 2015-02-14 at 11.10.17 AMas a bailiff with the Hillsborough County Court. He also owned and operated Gosselin’s Concrete Floor Company since 1964, and later, Go Pro Printing.

Gary invented an amazing effective surface cleaner, which was patented in 1993.

A loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, his life centered around his family. An avid outdoorsman, he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his mother of Manchester; family members include his wife of 34 years, Barbara (Rolland) Gosselin; three sons, Dennis Provencher and his wife, Toni, of Manchester, Kevin Provencher and his wife, Renae, of Goffstown, and Gary C. Gosselin, Jr. of Manchester; three daughters, Jennifer Campbell; Mel Gosselin of Manchester, and Sara Page and her husband, Erik, of Manchester; three grandchildren, Tyler, Kyle, and Ashley; two sisters, Gail Emerson and Donna Gosselin, both of Manchester; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Services: Following cremation, calling hours will be held Feb. 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Food Bank, 700 East Industrial Park Dr., Manchester, NH 03109 or to the Manchester Retired Firefighters Association, 14 Old Orchard Way, Manchester, NH 03103.
