MANCHESTER, NH – This summer Office of Youth Services is hosting free activities for Manchester youth! Activities are open to incoming Manchester middle and high school students).
OYS will be hosting a variety of activities including Boot Camp, Capture the Flag, Girl Talk in the Park, Hiking at Lake Massabesic, Movie Afternoon, Nature Walk at Livingston Park, Pick-Up Basketball, Pick-Up Soccer, and Service Projects.

JULY & AUG
Boot Camp – Cardio conditioning and strength training for all levels Wednesdays in July from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. in Livingston Park. No equipment required, participants must wear sneakers and bring a water bottle and sunscreen. Note: Boot Camp will not be held on July 31.
Capture the Flag – Pick-up games of capture the flag Fridays in July from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. in Cullerot Park. Participants must wear sneakers and bring a water bottle. Note: Capture the Flag will not be held on July 5.
Girl Talk in the Park – Bring a bagged lunch and check in about what’s going on in your life every Tuesday in July and August from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. in Veterans Park. Sorry, girls only for this activity.
Hiking at Lake Massabesic – Meet in the parking lot off Londonderry Turnpike for a hike around the lake Thursdays in August from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Participants must wear sneakers and bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray.
Movie Afternoon – Get out of the heat Fridays in August at the Manchester City Library for a movie. Movies will vary each week, check back soon for movie announcements. Movie begins at 1 p.m. Note: No food or drinks or allowed in the Auditorium during the movie. (Movie titles will be announced via the OYS Facebook page.)

Nature Walk at Livingston Park – Take a walk around the pond at Livingston Park Mondays in July from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Enjoy the beautiful park and observe the animals and insects that call it home. Participants must wear sneakers and bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray.
Pick-Up Basketball – Pick-up basketball games and skills drills at the West High School gym each Tuesday in July and August from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Participants must wear sneakers and bring a water bottle.
Pick-Up Soccer – Pick up soccer games and skills drills Wednesdays in July and Monday and Wednesdays in August from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Sheridan-Emmett Park, Beech Street. Participants must wear sneakers and bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
Service Projects – Join us to give back to our community through service projects in July. Each week we will have a new project and location. Participants must wear sneakers and bring a water bottle. (Projects to be announced vie OYS Facebook page).
