MANCHESTER, NH — This is on my mind today, so I’ve pulled up a list of local plumbers… just in case like me, you find some of your pipes appear to be frozen.
Preventitive/problem solving tips to try:
- A hairdryer may help, working from the part of the pipe closest to the drain and working back to the coldest part of the pipe.
- Leave faucet open for a small, steady flow of water.
- Pouring salt down a frozen drain (or other handy household items including a vinegar/baking soda/salt mix) may help to unfreeze surface water.
- Call a plumber!
