MANCHESTER, NH — The TD Bank and Intown Manchester Summer Fest is back and bigger than ever; offering 10 free events in Downtown Manchester at VeScreenshot 2015-07-05 at 7.56.52 AMterans Park throughout July and August.

“Intown Manchester, in conjunction with our lead sponsor, TD Bank, is beyond excited to expand Summer Fest in 2015 to 10 events,” said Sara Beaudry, Executive Director of Intown Manchester. “Our events aim to provide free, family-friendly fun for people of all ages to come and enjoy right in Downtown Manchester!”

The TD Bank Free Concerts in the Park are scheduled to begin Thursday, July 9, with the Freese Brothers Big Band. In addition to the great big tunes of the Freese Brothers, Intown Manchester is excited to host newly appointed Chief Willard for ‘Meet the Chief!’ This will provide an opportunity for members of the Manchester to meet and greet with our new chief!

I am honored to have been selected as the 11th Chief of Police in Manchester’s history, said Willard. “I am excited to serve the City of Manchester and look forward to continuing the community and police relations that have become a hallmark of the Manchester Police Department.”

Concert Calendar:

July 16: Manchuka, a 10-piece dance band.

July 23: The Houston Bernard Band, bringing country classics.

July 30: The Army Rock Band returns with patriotic rock.

August 6: Local cover band Incadence will rock the park.

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. at Veterans Park.

In addition to the Thursday night concerts, Intown Manchester and TD Bank are pleased to present two Saturday Festivals!

The first festival, Stars, Stripes and Strings, will be Aug. 1, held in cooperation with the City of Manchester Parks and Recreation Department, featuring the Air Force String Band and the Jimmy Lehoux Band, from 6 – 9:30 p.m.

On Aug. 8 head downtown for the Livin’ Free Fest, from 4-9:30 p.m. Livin’ Free Fest will feature Entrain and the Adam Ezra Group with Roots of Creation.


Following the Annual TD Bank Free Concerts in the Park will be the newest addition to the Summer Fest line-up: TD Bank Free Movies in the Park. On Thursday

Screenshot 2015-07-05 at 7.53.07 AMFeatured films will be “Finding Nemo,” on August 20  and “The Lego Movie” on August 27.  Head to Veterans Park claim your turf around 7 p.m. with a blanket or lawn chair, for the night’s movie, which will start just after dusk and end around 9:30 p.m.

The 3rd Annual TD Bank Family Fest will be held on Saturday, August 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Veterans Park. The theme for 2015 will be ‘Where the Wild Things Are!’ Children and their families are encouraged to show up dressed as their favorite wild thing. There will be free activities, performances, music, giveaways, snacks and more!

With these partnerships, Intown Manchester is able to offer all Summer Fest events at no cost to all attendees!
