If you’ve got a bike, that means you probably have bike issues – gear problems, loose chain, bent rim, persistent deflating tires. Well, Neighborworks Southern NH has the cure: A free community bike clinic, Sept. 13 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 373 Union St., at the corner of Spruce St.BYOB (Bring Your Own Bike) and get some tips on bike maintenance from knowledgeable experts.
Even more important, you can connect with a group of like-minded bike enthusiasts, who are working together to make Manchester more bicycle friendly, while educating the public about bike safety and advocacy. You can learn more here.
Volunteers are needed for Saturday’s event, so if you have a bit of bike geek in you, or just want to help things run smoothly, click here to fill out a “volunteer form,” and then click here to fill out a brief survey about your particular bike needs and habits.
This event is organized by Bike Recycle Manchester and hosted by NeighborWorksSNH, supported by Bike Manchester, NWSNH and the Office of Youth Services.
