MANCHESTER, NH – Amanda Gurley, 26, was arrested Jan. 12 at about 2:15 a.m. in the area of Chestnut and Central streets, the fourth person to be arrested in connection with the Jan. 4 shooting incident in which a 65-year-old woman used her handgun to thwart an attempted robbery.
Police spotted her while on patrol and made the arrest without incident.

In addition to Gurley, three others have been arrested in connection with the shooting, charged as co-conspirators to the robbery – Julie Lambert, Zack Boyd and Michael Bontaites.
Bontaites suffered a serious gunshot wound on Jan. 4 after the victim told police she was followed to her apartment complex by a car and one of the occupants got out of the car and attempted to block her path. Bontaites was arrested at the scene and transported to a hospital for treatment.
Boyd was arrested Jan. 4. Warrants were issued by police for Lambert and Gurley. Lambert turned herself in on Jan. 10.
Gurley was arraigned on Tuesday. Bontatites and Boyd are scheduled for a probable cause hearing on January 14. Lambert is scheduled for a probable cause hearing on January 25, police said.
