
MANCHESTER, NH – Manchester juvenile investigators completed arrest warrants on a former pastor of a Manchester church after they learned about his alleged assaults involving a minor. The investigation began several months ago when investigators were alerted to inappropriate behavior involving the former pastor and a minor.

Detective Stephen Flynn completed an arrest warrant Aug. 22 for Stephen Jesmer, 37, of Manchester. Jesmer was informed of the warrant, so he turned himself in at police headquarters shortly thereafter. He was charged with three counts aggravated felonious sexual assault (AFSA), three counts felonious sexual assault (FSA) and one count witness tampering.
Jesmer appeared in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on August 23, 2016.
Jesmer was previously employed as a pastor with The Dialogue Church, 516 Pine St., at the time of the alleged assaults. The Dialogue Church staff members have been highly cooperative with the investigation. Detectives are following up on the case.
