TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA – The Toronto Blue Jays announced on Wednesday that 2018 New Hampshire Fisher Cats manager John Schneider as a catching coach in Toronto during the 2019 season.

Schneider, 36, has spent the past 11 seasons in the Blue Jays organization as a manager and player. Since becoming a minor league manager for the Blue Jays, he’s posted an 427-397 record, winning a Northwest League championship in 2011, an Eastern League championship in 2018 and a Florida State League co-championship in 2017.
