Capture 3MANCHESTER, NH – For the second day in a row, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats announced a game postponement due to weather conditions, this time against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

First pitch for the postponed game was scheduled at 6:35 p.m. Now, the game will be played as part of a doubleheader at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium on Friday, May 18, with the first game of the doubleheader scheduled to begin at 5:35 p.m.

Under Eastern League rules, all doubleheaders have seven, rather than nine, regulation innings.

The Fisher Cats/Rumble Ponies postponement is the second Eastern League postponement announced on Monday, with the Hartford Yard Goats road game against the Portland Sea Dogs also postponed.

On Sunday, all scheduled games were postponed except for the contest between the Reading Fightin’ Phils and the Richmond Flying Squirrels.

Fans with tickets for Monday’s game can redeem them at the box office for any other Fisher Cats regular season home game in 2018.
