MANCHESTER, NH – The New Hampshire Fisher Cats and the Fisher Cats Foundation are bringing several major league legends to this year’s Granite State Baseball Dinner.

Red Sox greats Oil Can Boyd, Bernie Carbo, Bill Lee, Rico Petrocelli, Bob Stanley and Luis Tiant will join New Hampshire native and Cy Young Award winner Chris Carpenter as well as Hall of Famer Tony Perez.

“We’re thrilled to have these baseball legends join us to support these great causes,” said Art Solomon, Fisher Cats owner and chairman of the Fisher Cats Foundation. “With Hall of Famer Tony Perez, local legend Chris Carpenter, and a group of Red Sox greats, this year’s event will be one to remember.”

Inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2000, Perez won two World Series with Cincinnati’s “Big Red Machine,” and finished his 23-year career with 2,732 hits and 379 home runs. He also played for the Red Sox from 1980-1982, and picked up another World Series ring as a hitting and first base coach with the 1990 “Wire to Wire” Cincinnati Reds.

Additional guests include former MLB infielder and ESPN Analyst Orestes Destrade, Orioles 10th round pick and local prospect Cody Dube, Manchester West High School graduate and former MLB infielder Greg LaRocca, Fisher Cats fan favorite Jonathan Davis, and the daughter of Ted Williams, Claudia Williams.

This year’s fundraising event will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 5 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel Expo Center in Manchester.  Since 2007, the event has donated more than $1.57 million to its three beneficiaries: the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock (CHaD), the Ted Williams Foundation, and the Fisher Cats Foundation.

The dinner will also include a live and silent auction, where attendees can bid on priceless memorabilia including a Tom Brady & David Ortiz ring collage, a Mookie Betts autographed baseball, a Ted Williams autographed ring collage, and much more.

Tickets for this year’s event are $80 and can be purchased by clicking here. Fisher Cats Season Ticket Holders can obtain preferred seating by using the special offer code “STX” when purchasing tickets for the charitable event. Tickets may be purchased at the Fisher Cats Ticket Office, by visiting www.nhfishercats.com, and by calling 603-641-2005.
