cutMANCHESTER, NH – The New Hampshire Fisher Cats have announced that Sunday’s game between the Fisher Cats and the Hartford Yard Goats has been postponed due to icy field and stadium conditions.

Sunday’s game, originally scheduled for 1:15 p.m., has been rescheduled for May 25.

There, it will be played as a doubleheader against the Yard Goats. Under Eastern League rules, doubleheaders have seven regulation innings instead of the nine innings found during days with only one game.

The first game of the doubleheader is scheduled to start at 5:05 p.m.

Fans with tickets for Sunday’s game can redeem them at the box office for any other Fisher Cats regular season home game in 2018.

At the start of play on Monday, the Fisher Cats hold the best record in the Eastern League at 7-2, two games ahead of Trenton in the Eastern League’s Eastern Division.

On Monday, the Fisher Cats will welcome Tim Tebow and the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the Double-A affiliate of the New York Mets.

First pitch for Monday’s game is 6:35 p.m., and it will be followed by games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday before the Fisher Cats leave for a three-game road series against the Reading Fightin’ Phils.
