MANCHESTER, NH – A Manchester motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run accident Aug. 3 at about 11:45 p.m. on the Everett Turnpike in Merrimack. NH State Police are seeking the public’s help in finding the driver of a tan or gold Chevy Malibu responsible for the accident.

The crash occured on the Everett Turnpike northbound near mile 15.4 in Merrimack. Police were told by several witnesses to the accident that a tan or gold-colored sedan had passed them just before the accident, and that the driver was operating the car erratically.

Nikolos Leedberg, 20, of Manchester, was operating the motorcycle. Police determined the car caused the crash when it hit Leedberg, who suffered serious injuries to his wrist and ankle. He was taken to Elliot Hospital for treatment.

Troopers believe the vehicle they are looking for is an older model tan or gold Chevrolet Malibu. The vehicle will have significant front end damage and should be missing its front bumper.

Anyone that may have any information about this incident or to the identity of this vehicle is asked to call Tr. Jacob Wood at New Hampshire State Police Troop-B at 223-4381 or email him at Jacob.Wood@dos.nh.gov.
