MANCHESTER, NH – The next 10-week class session at Studio 550 begins January 16. All classes are open to complete beginners and intermediate students. Advanced students may be more interested in an open studio membership or in teaching a class.

The classes offered will be pottery and clay sculpting, stained glass, watercolor painting, acrylic painting, book arts, and drawing. Classes are offered throughout the day to accommodate students with varying schedules. The full schedule, course details, and pricing can be found online at www.550arts.com.

For those who are unsure what media they want to delve into, Studio 550 offers an Art Sample Pack Class that is only five weeks long, includes all materials, and covers a different media each week. Participants will be able to experience stained glass, clay, basic drawing, watercolors, and bind their own books or journals.

Students who register and pay with cash or check by December 24 receive 5 percent off of class registration.

We are also delighted to welcome Claudia Michael as our watercolor teacher for the Winter Session. Claudia Michael has been teaching watercolor for more than 20 years. She is a graduate faculty member of the New Hampshire Institute of Art, a senior lecturer with Granite State College and a juried member of the New Hampshire Art Association.

Students may register online, call 603-232-5597 or stop on by Studio 550 at 550 Elm Street in Manchester (across from the SNHU Arena).
