Escaped gang member with history of violence sought by U.S. Marshals

MANCHESTER, NH — The U.S. Marshals – N.H. Joint Fugitive Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in locating fugitive gang member Raymond Aviles Rios, 28, whose last known address was at the Hampshire House, a federal half-way house located on Elm Street in Manchester.  Rios was serving part of a 55 month federal sentence for a December, 2011 bank robbery in Manchester.  Rios has a long criminal history involving several crimes of violence, and he should definitely be considered dangerous.

Shortly after noon on Monday, Rios fled the half-way house after being informed of several rule violations.  Rios was last seen running south on Hampshire Lane towards Dow Street, wearing black pants, a grayish-blue Under Armour sweatshirt with the Under Armour symbol printed in a greenish color on the chest while wearing a dark colored baseball style cap.

Rios is a white male, 5’10”, 192 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes and numerous readily visible tattoos.  Some of Rios’ tattoos include; throat – cross; neck (rear) – “K.E.”; left fingers – “OK”; left hand – “ACB”; right forearm – praying hands with “MOE”; left shoulder – “RAY”; right shoulder – flag of Puerto Rico; chest – cross;  and numerous other tattoos covering both arms and legs.  Rios is also known to use several aliases including; Nelson Rios, Carlos Martinez, and Ramon Rios-Vega.
