MANCHESTER, NH – Join Christina Dow and her team from The Training Station in partnership with the Elliot Health System Trauma and Acute Care Department on Jan. 17, 2017 for a Safety and Self-Defense Workshop 6:30-8 p.m. at the Elliot at River’s Edge, first floor.

During this 90 minute combination of lecture and hands-on training you will:

  • Learn principles and techniques for self-awareness, situational assessment and avoidance
  • Practice both non-contact and contact strategies and skills for effective self-defense
  • Apply learned skills to simulated risk situations
  • Be guided by expert staff in a supportive, confidence-building environment

Christina Dow is a third- degree black belt, certified personal trainer, and co-owner of The Training Station. She has been teaching self-defense and martial arts for more than a decade. The Training Station offers self-defense, Martial Arts (Kenpo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kung Fu, Internal Arts), kickboxing, TRX, and bootcamp from a team of certified, knowledgeable instructors.

Registration is free. Call (603) 663-4567. Light refreshments will be served. This workshop is open to all adults of at least 18 years of age. Class is limited to 50 attendees, registration will close when class is full.
