Doug Penner, VP of Provider Services

MANCHESTER, NH – Elliot Health System announced Doug Penner, a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives, has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Provider Services, effective June 12, 2017

Penner recently served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Washington Township Medical Group in California for the past two years. In his time as COO, he had oversight of Human Resources, Marketing, Quality, Physician Recruitment, Credentialing and Compliance functions. He had also successfully recruited 25 physicians during his time with the Washington Township Medical group.

Penner has had extensive experience with practice operations and has formal training in Lean Management Systems, as he served as the executive sponsor of Continuous Improvement Methodology with his medical group. Throughout his career he has been involved in Dyad leadership roles as he’s successfully partnered with clinical leaders at the positions he has held.

Penner graduated from the University of Mississippi with a BA in International Studies and later obtained his Master of Public Health from the University of California at Berkeley.  He then got a Master of Business Administration from Indian University – Kelley School of Business.
