MANCHESTER, NH – It was a relatively slow day at City Hall Friday with only a dozen new candidates stopping by to sign on the dotted line and declare their candidacy for the 2017 Municipal Election.

The most action was in Ward 10 where five new candidates stepped up – Christopher R. Messier for Ward Moderator, Heidi Hamer for Clerk, Jane LaPerle and Gary Hamer for two of the three selectmen positions, and Thomas McGee for board of school committee, joining incumbent School Committee member John Avard on the ballot.
