Election 2017: Big filing finish brings out 3 dozen more candidates

MANCHESTER, NH – Filing period for Election 2017 has ended with a flourish, as 36 new names were added to the candidate’s list on Friday.

Highlights reel: Two more potential aldermen have stepped up – Cameron Barr will run against Tony Sapienza in Ward 5, and  Jonathan Barrett is the fourth and final contender for Ward 12. Most crowded field goes to Ward 2 Selectman, with eight candidates (only three will be elected).
