MANCHESTER, N.H. – Manchester Police are seeking additional information on the whereabouts of a man who allegedly stole an 85-year-old veteran’s wallet on Tuesday.

While the elderly veteran was loading groceries into his car at the Elm Street Market Basket, the man jumped out of his car and took the veteran’s wallet just after slowly driving up in a Volkswagen and down the parking lot to find a victim.

He was described as a heavy-set Caucasian man in his 30s and is approximately six-feet tall with unshaven scruffy facial hair. Later, he was spotted at 7-11 on Main Street with what is believed to be the veteran’s bank card.

Anyone with information on this man is asked to contact officer James Pittman at 603-792-5802.
