Early morning warrant nets arrest, drugs and guns on Cedar Street

MANCHESTER, NH – The Special Enforcement Division and the Manchester Police SWAT Team on Nov. 1 executed a search warrant at a Cedar Street apartment at 6 a.m. Members of the Special Enforcement Division were granted an arrest warrant for Clifford Williamson, 39, of 244 Cedar St., Manchester, based on the fact he allegedly sold crack cocaine to undercover officers during the last several months.

They located and arrested Williamson inside of the second-floor apartment without incident. Williamson had an arrest warrant for sale of a controlled drug. He was additionally charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute after detectives seized crack cocaine and cocaine from the apartment.

Detectives seized 13 grams of crack cocaine, 4 grams of cocaine and two firearms from his dwelling. The Ruger 9mm handgun and .50 caliber muzzle loader were placed into evidence. Williamson was also charged with felonious use of a firearm.

He was scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North Nov. 1.
