MANCHESTER, NH – A Queen City couple allegedly lured a woman to their Ahern Street residence at 2 a.m. before threatening and assaulting her. The three parties were familiar with one another so this is not considered a random attack.

Dallas Devoe, 26, of Manchester, allegedly contacted the victim, a 31-year-old woman, around 2 a.m. and asked her to pick him up at the Ahern Street residence. She knocked on the door and was met by Amanda Ricker, 32, also of Manchester. The two women began to argue, so the victim turned away and walked toward her vehicle in an attempt to leave the area.

Devoe allegedly hit her in the back of the head as she walked away which caused her to fall. He pinned her to the ground while striking her several times with a black handgun. Ricker removed a different handgun from the victim’s car, handed it to Devoe and repeatedly kicked the victim while Devoe had held her down. Devoe threatened to end the victim’s life as he placed a gun in her mouth but eventually got up and walked toward the house.

Devoe and Ricker retreated back to their residence while the victim fled the area. The victim contacted police and relayed the assault to Officer Jason Soucy. Multiple officers responded to 25 Ahern St. due to the violent nature of the call and attempted to get both Devoe and Ricker to vacate the residence. They eventually exited the home and were arrested without incident.

The victim was treated at an area hospital for multiple injuries, to include a broken hand and multiple facial lacerations. Detectives are following up on the case and expect to execute a search warrant later today.

Devoe was charged with two counts first-degree assault, criminal threatening and theft by unauthorized taking. Ricker was charged with second-degree assault and theft by unauthorized taking. Both are scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Court-North on January 25, 2018.
