MANCHESTER, NH – Two people were arrested after Manchester Police raided a foreclosed property on Goffe Street that has been under surveillance for several weeks, and prior alleged drug activity.
Charles Ali, 29, of 63 Goffe St., was arrested and charged with sale of crack-cocaine based on an alleged drug deal made at an earlier date with an undercover police officer. Ali was also charged with violation of bail conditions.
Also arrested was Ebony Perryman-Jones, 22, also of 63 Goffe St., who was wanted on an outstanding forgery warrant.
According to a police narrative, members of the Manchester Special Enforcement Division had been investigating Ali at the Goffe Street address for weeks, and had prepared an arrest warrant on the alleged sale of crack. Officers executed the warrant with members of the Manchester Police
SWAT team at 6 a.m. on Dec. 15 and located multiple people inside bank-owned property, including Ali and Perryman-Jones. Detectives seized a 12-gauge shotgun from the residence, but did not locate any additional drugs.
Both Ali and Perryman-Jones were transported to police headquarters. Perryman-Jones was released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail and was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on December 30, 2015. Ali’s court date has not yet been scheduled.
