MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester Police Department’s semi-annual Drug Take Back/Shred-A-Thon will be held Saturday Oct. 28 at Manchester Police Department headquarters between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

drugsThere will also be a static display of the city’s Mounted Unit, the SWAT BearCat, police motorcycles, patrol cruiser and our Crime Scene Van. The Manchester Fire Department and an AMR Ambulance crew will also participate in our festivities.

Collection sites for drug take back will be located at both police headquarters and Elliot at River’s Edge and the US Army National Guard Armory. Note that the Manchester Police Department is the only location available for document shredding. Please bring no more than two legal-sized boxes of documents per family.

The Manchester Fire Department will assist in picking up unwanted and unused prescriptions at the residents of those who are physically unable to drive or make it to one of our three locations due to a legitimate medical condition. You need to contact Manchester Fire Department Administration (Melissa) at 603-669-2256 x3824 (not the MPD) and have your name put on a list before 4 p.m. on Oct. 27 (Friday).
