Driver identified in fatal I-93 crash in Windham

WINDHAM, NH – News update: State Police have determined that the driver in the fatal weekend crash was Kelsey Lenfest, 22, of Londonderry who remains hospitalized with serious injuries. Her passenger, Suzanne Darcy, 20, of Londonderry, was pronounced dead at Parkland Medical Center in Derry.

The crash was reported at about 3:30 a.m. New Hampshire State Police responded to the crash on Interstate 93 north in the town of Windham to find 1999 Lincoln Town Car on its roof.  Both Lenfest and Darcy were transported to Parkland Medical Center. Lenfest was transferred to Portsmouth Regional Hospital. It appears that neither Lenfest nor Darcy were wearing seatbelts, police said.

The crash investigation is being handled by the State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Unit (C.A.R. Unit) with assistance of New Hampshire State Police Troop B.

No charges have been filed, as the crash remains under investigation by the C.A.R. Unit.  Anyone who may have information related to this crash is asked to contact Trooper Bryan Plamondon 603-223-8677 or via email at bryan.plamondon@dos.nh.gov.
