Donald B. ‘Collin’ Russell, 50: Loved family, cookouts, music, and ‘Lucky’

MANCHESTER, NH – Donald B. “Collin” Russell, 50, of Manchester, passed away on January 15, 2018 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

He was born in Kingston, Jamaica, on May 22, 1967, the son of Curney Russell and Estriana Campbell. He was first employed by Granite State Packing (formerly known as JacPac Foods) for 17 years and most recently, Hitachi Cable. Collin loved spending time with his family, his feline companion Lucky, and hosting family cookouts. He also had been a boxer and enjoyed music.

Family members include his parents of Manchester; his wife and best friend of 30 years, Charmaine (Robinson) Russell; his daughter, who was his pride and joy, Daneillia Russell of Manchester; two brothers, Benjamin Peabody and Curney Russell, both of Manchester; five sisters, Marcia Morgan-Soha, Sharon Russell, Angella Russell, Nicole Russell, and Jillian Peabody all of Manchester; and many nephews, nieces, grand nephews, and one grandniece.

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Saturday Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home chapel at noon.
