BEDFORD, NH — Police from Bedford are looking for the public’s help in identifying a female bank robber who got away with cash from the TD Bank on South River Road Tuesday.

Bedford Police Chief John Bryfonski reports that the Bedford Police Department is investigating a bank robbery Jan. 19. According to police, a woman walked into the TD Bank on South River Road at 5:30 p.m. and demanded money from a teller. She claimed to have a weapon, but none was shown. The robber took a quantity of cash and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white female, in her early to mid 20s, 5-foot-3 inches to 5-foot-5 inches tall to with a thin build. She wore a black hat, gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and tennis shoes.

No one was injured during the robbery.
