DURHAM, NH – Photographer Becky Field has for many years been capturing the everyday lives of immigrants and refugees as they find their way as new Americans in the Granite State. A collection of her work will be on display at the Dimond Library at UNH Museum, 18 Library Way, from April 5- May 31.

The exhibit, Different Root, Common Dreams, shows through photographs that while we may have different cultural roots, we all have the same dreams for good jobs, a strong future for our children and freedom to practice our traditions.

An opening reception will be held April 12 from 5-7 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Music will be provided by Himalayan Heritage Music Group, who play traditional folk, sacred and classical music.

The exhibit and reception is sponsored by the Department of Anthropology, UNH Museum and UNH Special Collections.
