MANCHESTER, NH — The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has announced that the DHHS District Office (DO) in Manchester will open for business on Thursday, May 12 at its new location at 1050 Perimeter Road, Suite 501. Approximately 100 DHHS staff members will work out of the new District Office.

periAfter relocating operations for the Manchester DO last September, DO staff were temporarily relocated at various sites, including locations where DHHS clients could continue to meet with staff in person in Manchester. Client-facing Division of Client Services staff relocated to 1234 River Road and New Hampshire Employment Program staff relocated to 60 Rogers Street. Other DO staff in the Division of Children, Youth, and Families, the New Hampshire Employment Program, the Division of Child Support Services, and the Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services worked out of various DHHS offices during the transition.

“I want to thank the Manchester staff for their hard work to limit disruptions for our clients, and thank our clients for their patience during the unexpected and temporary relocation,” said DHHS Commissioner Jeffrey A. Meyers. “We are excited to provide a new location for the District Office to ensure that clients will continue to receive timely services during and after the transition to the new facility.”

The Manchester DO main phone number will remain 603-668-2330 or toll free at 1-800-852-7439. TTD Relay is 1-800-735-2964 or 711. All phone numbers for Manchester DO staff are unchanged.
