BRETTON WOODS, N.H. – The Derryfield School boys’ golf team leads after Day One of the NHIAA Division III Championship, searching for their third title in the past four years.

The win completed a 30-0 regular season, with Derryfield’s 320 stroke team total finish coming up five strokes better than second-place Bow.

Gunnar Senatore led the Cougars with a plus-one 73, as he and teammate Colin McCaigue both took three birdies on the day.

Senatore and McCaigue finished just short of the individual title lead as well, trailing the even-par 72 posted by Pelham’s Russell Hamel.

The second round begins on Sunday.

In the first round of the NHIAA Division I Championship, Jamison Reilly of Manchester Memorial posted plus-16 88 and Manchester Central’s Garrett Radwanski hit a plus-28 100, with neither score good enough to make the cut for the second round.
