MANCHESTER, NH – You thought disco died? Think again. A disco revival is coming to the Palace Theatre when Saturday Night Fever opens April 14, taking you back to the days of the hustle. Anthony “Tony” Manero will be busting out the kind of moves that made John Travolta famous in the hit movie by the same name.

The storyline focuses on Manero, a kid from Brooklyn who spends his weekends at the local disco dance club. His popularity at the club leads him to become a regular favorite that the crowd admires, and grants him the title of “King of the Dance Floor.” While at the club, Manero temporarily forgets his hum-drum life, which includes his dead-end job at the paint store and his deadbeat friends.

Manero takes the dance competition by storm with the combination of his electricity and his love interest – and dance partner – Stephanie Mangano.

Adapted from the hit movie and New York Magazine article, “Tribal Rites of the New Saturday Night,” that solidified the Bee Gees as disco icons, enjoy timeless hits such as “How Deep is your Love,” “More Than a Woman,” “You Should Be Dancing,” and “Stayin’ Alive.”

Will Tony find true love? Win the competition? Make his dreams come true?

Polish your platform shoes and dust off your leisure suit for Saturday Night Fever at the Palace Theatre April 14-May 6. Tickets range from $25-$45. Be ready to do the Electric Slide all night long.
