To the Editor:

The Green Council of Londonderry High School is holding the Londonderry Eco Action Forum (LEAF). This event will take place on December 6, 2019, at the Londonderry High School Cafeteria (295 Mammoth Road, Londonderry)  from 6-8 p.m. The objective of LEAF is to educate the residents of Londonderry on environment-related issues. This will be done through presentations from various speakers and informational booths.

Topics ranging from plastic use to deforestation will be addressed to aid in demystifying the concepts concerning the future of the Earth. Speeches from established leaders in non-governmental organizations and campaigns will attribute to the content of viable resolutions. Among the educational resources, childcare and crafts will be available for families hoping to engage in this learning opportunity together. Refreshments will be served to attendants throughout the event. Additionally, please make an effort to bring any unused electronic devices and clothing for the recycling drive.
