MANCHESTER, NH — Police seek the public’s help in identifying a “person of interest” wanted in connection with an armed robbery on Sept. 19 at Crosstown Variety.

At approximately 9:25 p.m. Officer Andrew Choi responded to Crosstown Variety, 270 Amory St., for a reported armed robbery. The clerk said a man entered the store and asked for a pack of cigarettes. As the clerk attempted to hand the man the cigarettes, the man pulled out a large knife while demanding cash from the cash register.

The clerk complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of money. The man did not make any additional threats as he took the cash. Store owner Ahmed Saeed reviewed store surveillance video footage with the clerk and felt the man responsible for the robbery may have been in the store less than one hour before the robbery.

The man pictured is considered a person of interest, so please contact Manchester Police Detectives if you recognize him. If your information leads to the arrest and conviction of the responsible party, then you may be eligible for a cash reward. Contact Manchester Police Crimeline at 624-4040 and leave your crime tip.
