Credit card fraud: Victim’s card stolen from Panera, used at Home Depot for $4K in gift cards

MANCHESTER, NH – On March 13, 2019 a credit card stolen from Panera Bread in Bedford was used to buy more than $4,000-worth of gift cards at the Home Depot on March Avenue in Manchester.

The gift cards were transferred to unknown people in Philadelphia, PA, and used there, police said.

Police believe the woman pictured here stole the credit card and then made the purchases at Home Depot.

She also bought cleaning products for herself, leading police to believe she may be local.

The public is reminded it is a best practice to minimize your open credit accounts, discard all credit cards that you no longer use by shredding them, update your online account passwords, and check balances frequently to detect any fraudulent account activity.
