Craig Thomas Key, 29: Beloved son, brother, friend – kind-hearted and giving

MANCHESTER, NH – Craig Thomas Key, 29, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on January 10, 2019. Born November 22, 1989 in Manchester, he was son of Bradford and Lea (Maranda) Key.

Craig loved being outdoors; he enjoyed fishing and doing roofing work. He was recently employed as a cook while living in Portland, ME, before moving back to New Hampshire. Though Craig struggled with addiction, he was a kind-hearted and giving person. Craig loved spending time with his family.

He leaves behind his parents, Lea Key of Manchester, NH and Bradford Key of Exeter, NH; his brothers, Ian Maranda and Samuel Key; his sisters, Abby and Sara Key; his aunt, Alice Cote; his niece, Kylie Blanchard; as well as several other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.

A gathering will be held on Thursday, January 17 from 4-6 p.m. with a memorial service at 6 p.m., at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Craig’s memory may be made to Hope for NH Recovery, 293 Wilson Street, Manchester, NH 03103.
