MANCHESTER, N.H. – Mayor Joyce Craig received the endorsement of Teamsters Local 633 on Tuesday morning in an event at the UPS Customer Center on Brown Avenue.

In Manchester, Teamsters Local 633 represents approximately Manchester School District Principals, Directors and Coordinators as well as police support staff, airport employees, library employees, and welfare department employees

“Mayor Craig has been an advocate for working families in Manchester,” said Jeff Padellaro, secretary-treasurer of Teamsters Local 633. “She has an open-door policy for working families, she’s always had an open door to us and she’s supported our efforts to negotiate strong and fair contracts.”

Local 633 represents approximately 1,000 current employees and retirees in the city overall beyond just public employees, also representing union members at UPS, Independent Pipe and Pepsi Beverages Company.

“Teamsters Local 633 members are hardworking, dedicated employees that work across our city and provide a wide array of services that our residents and businesses rely on,” said Craig. “I’m honored to have their support and I’m looking forward to continuing to work together to build a stronger Manchester.”

On top of that, he's a licensed notary and licensed to sell property, casualty and life insurance, he's been a USSF trained youth soccer and futsal referee for the past six years and he can name over 60 national flags in under 60 seconds according to that flag game app he has on his phone, which makes sense because he also has a bachelor's degree in geography (like Michael Jordan). He can also type over 100 words a minute on a good day.
