Greene (1-2) went 6 2/3rd innings, one out short from completing the truncated contest.

The only runs he gave up came in the seventh when Binghamton’s David Thompson singled to left field. Kevin Taylor came home first, with Thompson also scoring thanks to an error by Anthony Alford.

Alford’s error negated his RBI double in the third, an inning that also saw Ryan McBroom hit his fourth homer of the year.

Outside of the earned run, Greene scattered four hits, walking and striking out two.

Tim Mayza recorded the final out to earn his first save of the year.

Mickey Jannis (3-1) pitched five innings in the loss, allowing each of New Hampshire’s runs off eight hits. Ben Griset pitched one inning to relieve Jannis, his first appearance since facing the Fisher Cats last week in Binghamton.
